We have our very first church presentation coming up this Sunday at the Heartland Community Church in Landmark! We're excited (maybe one of us is nervous...) to share about the work we're getting ourselves into. In addition to us talking, there will be other, more seasoned missionaries sharing about what they are currently doing. We'll be hearing from: The R.Pletts in Madagascar via Skype, Kent Dueck from Inner-City Youth Alive in Winnipeg, Steve Andres from Flatland here in Landmark, and Arley will be the morning speaker. Because there will be many different speakers, the service will run from 9:30 until about 2:30 or so. Midway through, at 11:30, we'll break for a fundraising lunch consisting of pulled beef on a bun, chips, coleslaw and dessert. Yum! I can't wait! :) Proceeds are in support of our service opportunity at the Black Forest Academy. We hope you'll be able to make it out, so that you can judge us while we nervously share our hopes and dreams with you, but if you can't, make sure to connect with us so that we can give you that opportunity some other time. ;)
